Available at Selfridges, the Bourbon clutch bag is £995. It's a lovely shade of bronze. Its optional shoulder strap makes it multifunctional, as it can be used as a cross body bag.

The Custard Cream clutch bag is a classy shade of champagne gold and also £995.

Slightly cheaper at £895, is the cylindrical McVities Ginger Nuts clutch bag. It is made from snakeskin and replicates a packet of biscuits on a supermarket shelf. 

These bags are timeless classics, that will add a quirky dimension to your eveningwear. They can be used for almost any special occasion.

However, due to the price tag, I'll be waiting for the high street to design a cheaper alternative.
