NARS Purifying Foam Cleanser: The Review

'Infused with NARS exclusive Light Reflecting Complex, this refreshing, foaming cleanser lifts away impurities and makeup without irritation. It cleanses the pores and smoothes the surface for skin that feels ultra-soft and refreshed.'
A quick glance at the name of this product and you might think that it's an ordinary skin cleanser. However as the quote suggests, it doubles up as a makeup remover. This 2-in-1 cleanser is aimed at women with normal to oily and combination skin. It retails at £21.00; which is justifiable as you get two products in one; meaning that you don't need to buy a makeup remover and skin cleanser separately. There's 125ml of product, which should last between three to six months; depending on how often you use it.
In terms of appearance, the predominantly white packaging makes a change from NARS' usual monochrome-themed packaging. The cleanser has a fruity fragrance which is similar to Balance Me's Radiance Face Mask. This could be a problem for women with sensitive skin as fragranced skincare products can cause irritation.

My skin was left feeling 'ultra-soft and refreshed' as NARS claim. However, I had to use moisturiser at times because my skin looked dry. This is something to consider if you decide to buy this product. It also controlled 'excess oil'; which left my face with a matte finish. This meant that I was unable to see the 'light reflecting complex.'
In conclusion, this product works well as a makeup remover and skin cleanser.

I rate this cleanser 4/5
