I have decided to write my first post; 'How to get Street Stlyed', after being inspired by the 'Street Style' pages in various fashion magazines. Below, is my step-by-step guide on how you can (hopefully!) feature in a fashion magazine's Street Style page.
Some of the outfits featured in the street style sections, are often quite unique. Therefore, it is essential that you go for a look that will stand out from the crowd.
1) Look at pictures of this year's London Fashion Week to get some ideas.
2) Look at the latest fashion trends.
3) Add your own unique style for some pizzaz.
4) Create your outfit. Make sure it is stop-the-traffic-amazing!
5) Walk around busy high streets to get noticed. You might bump into a photographer looking for people in totes amaze outfits. They might even be looking for people to put in the Street Style section of their magazine. If you are unsure, ask them!
Even if you don't end up getting street styled, people may complement you on your outfit. If you are lucky enough to have your photo taken, don't forget to buy the magazine... And get everyone you know to buy it as well!
